The Glover School is participating with Safe Routes to School; this is a MA Department of Transportation program that works to promote safe and sustainable student transportation. They are focused on exercise, safety and fostering a sense of community. The program has been effective in increasing the number of students who walk and bike to school and has decreased idling and parent traffic.
If you are interested in providing input on where students walk/bike and identify areas of concern in your neighborhood, please email [email protected] with the subject “Safe Routes”. You will be contacted by someone in the program to participate in a walking tour of your neighborhood or provide feedback.
